INSIGMA WILL BE A SPEAKER AT SOURCING INTEREST GROUP’S ANNUAL GLOBAL SOURCING SUMMIT

Insigma announces it will speak at the annual SIG Global Sourcing Summit to be held March 30 – April 1 in Savannah, Ga. The Sourcing Interest Group’s annual summit is known for bringing together the top minds in sourcing to discuss issues and best practices. “The SIG Global Sourcing Summit is the premier industry event for thought leadership about strategic sourcing, and Insigma is very proud to be one of the presenters at this year’s summit,” said Peter Nag, Managing Director and Head of FSI at Insigma US.

To strengthen their competitive advantages, companies today are turning to game-changing models and new services locations. However, determining which critical processes to outsource to a strategic partner, choosing the geographic location, aligning the services with strategic objectives yet not losing control are both an art and science. Albert Ma, Vice President of Information Technology at State Street Corporation, and Peter Nag of Insigma will share insight into these issues as well as global destinations and their differentiated value, managing the trade-off between flexibility and control in governance, and how a collaborative relationship can accelerate innovation, manage risks, and enable flexibility. They will also discuss how Insigma and State Street moved beyond an outsourcing solution to address business challenges and forged a collaborative relationship that transformed State Street’s facility in China to a high-end R&D center delivering innovation to State Street.

About Albert Ma
Albert Ma, Vice President of Information Technology at State Street, joined firm in Hong Kong in 1982. He managed the IT department of Global Trade Banking prior to relocating to Boston in 2000. As a Global Product Manager in GTB, he was responsible for a number of banking products and actively supported the sales and marketing effort in the US. He was the first employee relocated to Hangzhou, China, in 2003, acting as the Chief Information Officer of State Street’s Hangzhou office. He worked very closely with Zhejiang University professors to grow the Hangzhou office as a core offshore development center for State Street. He relocated to Boston in 2007 and continued to support the growth of the Hangzhou office remotely. Albert holds a Master degree in Technology Management from the University of Queensland and an MBA from the University of Hull. He is an Associate of the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers and is a Certified Computer Professional with the British Computer Society UK.

Peter Nag, Managing Director and Head of FSI at Insigma US, is a senior executive in Investment Banking with over 20 years of experience effecting transformation across divisions and geographies in the financial services sector. Peter brings extensive relationships and deep operational knowledge to form profitable alliances at the CXO level. An expert in program management, business process reengineering, resource optimization, KPO/BPO/ITO, expense management and business continuity, Peter works across geographies including India, China, Singapore, Australia, EMEA and Latin America.
